If you are over 50 and don’t love this car you must be dead. The pictures don’t do it justice. You need to hear this car run, and listen as you down shift the 3 on the tree into 2nd gear and hear those dual glass packs back off. The motor has Offenhauser heads and intake manifold. The original radio works as do all the gauges. The top works fine and is not new but decent. The leather interior looks great with just the right amount of cracking. They only made 8157 of these and the next one wasn’t built until after the war in 1946. If you want to relive the good old days, this is the way to go. A perfectly restored car is nice(and expensive), but I’ll bet the one you had looked a lot like this one. Who said you can’t go back?????????? All the nostalgia aside, this car runs great, and is a lot of fun to drive. No worries, just get in, drop the top, and go.
